King of All Kings

from Supermoon by Adrian Niles

/

lyrics

Translate my bitter speak into a faith so fine.
Take a mass of disease and make it benign.
I stumble like a hoodlum across winter fields.
A burnt drunken soldier...man I tell ya this stuff is for real.
But, Jesus is the King of all Kings.

Analog thunder and digital rain.
I got the Magnetic movement, I got the binary pain.
Once upon a time I spent a perfect year,
within the canyons of your love
With your words in my ear.
And, Jesus is the King of all Kings.

I've grown incompetent, relying on charms.
The whole wide world is living,
But I'm still up in arms.
I take bullets in my coffee, I pull the slugs from my chest.
Messages from my loved ones I never get.
But, Jesus is the King of all Kings.
